Hi Nancy4676 - It sounds like you're currently using projectors and smart boards in your environment… can you describe a little bit more behind why you'd want to make the shift to smart tvs? Depending on the current projectors and smartboards you're using, you may lose a lot (if not all of) the interactive component that comes along with these devices. It's really about weighing the pros and cons of interactivity (smart boards) vs. little to no interactivity (smart tvs).

By using a TV, you'll lose this type of lesson plan collaboration. Plus, the life expectancy of an interactive panel is almost triple that of a flatscreen TV.
Think about how you’re currently using the projectors and smartboards and the functionality that would be potentially lost and also what would be gained by switching to smart tvs. One question to ask yourself: “How would teachers react to and adjust to this change?” Just some food for thought! :)
