Recently, many customers have been asking how to ensure the long-term, stable and high performance of the machine.

 

At this time, correct maintenance becomes particularly necessary.

 

Now we will explain some maintenance steps and tips for desiccant dehumidifiers. At the same time, we also list solutions to some common problems.

 

Here is section of 1000m3/h model, let's use it as a sample to study

 

1kg-50kg Ozone Generator

 

This desiccant dehumidifier can working for a long time and only need few maintenance work in fact, however, it is sure that the maintenance is beneficial for the dehumidification equipment. The frequency of the maintenance depends on the operation conditions and the quality of the installation environment. If the process air have more dust, more maintenance work will be required.  Accordingly, the proposal is that maintenance cycle could be adjusted according to the actual condition, normally, do it once a half year at least. If maintain undeservedly, the equipment of dehumidification performance may be reduced.

 

- Before open panels, the dehumidification equipment shut down about 15 minutes, make sure the heating device cools completely

- Cut off the main power before any maintenance work

- There is a high temperature area (reactivation heating section) in the dehumidification equipment, so, cooling down completely

then start maintenance.

 

Filter unit

This devices equipped two independent filter devices, including one for process airflow, the other is for reactivation airflow.

 

Filter devices are installed in the entrance of airflow, cleaning the air entering dehumidification devices. Clean or replacing filter device should be according to  the quantity of dust particles in air. Do not operate machine without filter devices, because the dust impurities may go into machine and damage desiccant wheel.  Checking one time per a month .

General maintenance is not needed in normal. However, if it is necessary to carry out the maintenance wok, using compressed air to clean it. For serious pollution of the wheel, washing it, but frequency of cleaning is not overmuch.

 

Motor(s)

The motor is equipped with bearing, whose service life is the same with motor's, so, no additional maintenance. Every year checking

one time ensure that it's normal.
